Polenastics

Polenastics Ltd was originally established in 2003 by Emily Hill at the Woughton Leisure Centre in Milton Keynes. Nameless at the time the Polenastics classes were just 'Pole Fitness' classes, and were the first and only pole fitness classes running in Buckinghamshire England until 2006. Pole fitness and dance classes originally ran in 6 week pre pay block bookings and then PAYG options were added.

History

In 2006 Pippa Caesar joined Emily's pole fitness classes as a pole fitness and dance student. During 2006 some students of Emily's pole fitness classes, set up in competition and began running their own pole dance classes in the local area. These pole schools were MK Pole Fitness run by Hannah and Sugar Pole Ftness run by Mari.

In 2007, Pippa Caesar joined Emilys Vertical Art pole fitness and dance classes as marketing manager and the school was given its name, Emily's Vertical Fitness. The team began marketing classes directly, as previously all marketing had been managed by The Woughton Centre. In March 2008 EmilysVerticalArt.co.uk was populated.

In 2008, Emilys Vertical Art branched out into more areas with the pole fitness and dance classes. Wayne Armstrongs Boxing Gym in Hitchin, Frantic-Uk dance studio in Wolverton and Pink Punters in Bletchley began hosting pole classes with more venues being added. In September 2008 another school was set up by an ex pupil of Emily's Ascent-Trix by Sam Amey Ascent-Trix.

In November 2008, Pippa Caesar qualified with www.polepassion.com to teach pole fitness and begun teaching pole fitness classes for Emily Hill.

Pippa Caesar has been judging national and international Pole competitions since 2009 inclucing NSPDC, Pole Divas, UK Pole Artists, Preliminary heats for Miss World Pole Dance 2010 and Finals Miss World Pole Dance 2011, NPAPC, Pole For YoU aNd I.

Becoming Polenastics Ltd

August 9, 2009 Emily Hill took a step down after 6 years and Pippa Caesar became the owner of the company, renaming it to Polenastics. Polenastics quickly grew to a team of 5 instructors.

2 February 2010 Polenastics was registered as Limited company and in the same year, Polenastics Canada was established by a long term student who emigrated, Jess. The Polenastics Ltd world wide team grew to 11 pole fitness instructors.

12 February 2011 Polenastics Ltd with a strong team of 15 instructors opened their own pole fitness and dance studio in Newport Pagnell Milton Keynes.

In the same month, February 2011, Christine Cronan begun teaching her own Polenastics classes in Torrevieja, Spain. In August of the same year Christine was able to open a purpose built pole studio in the same town. In July 2011, Emma Addison opened a Polenastics branch in Skegness Lincolnshire, teaching pole fitness from variou venues. This was swiftly followed with the design and launch of a purpose built studio for Polenastics, zumba and other keep fit and flexibily classes situated in Alford, Lincolnshire.

1 April 2011, 5 of the Hitchin based Polenastics Ltd instructors set up their own sister school in Hertfordshire, leaving the Bucks based team to focus on the dedicated studio and local classes. The Polenastics Ltd team consisted of 11 pole fitness instructors.

In February 2012, 3 of the Hitchin team came back to Polenastics, Lucy, Lauren and Laurie and set up classes in Hitchin, Stevenage and surrounding areas. This Hertfordshire team grew again in July 2012 to a 7 strong team.

After a very successful 18 months, Polenastics Ltd Newport Pagnell are in the middle of designing a brand new aerial studio and planning the 3rd annual Polenastics UK Championships. The Polenastics studio is the first bespoke and dedicated pole dance and fitness studio in Newport Pagnell.

The Future

On 4 June 2011, Polenastics hosted Buckinghamshire first Pole Fitness Championships, the Bucks Pole Fitness Championships in Milton Keynes. Attended by over 200 guests and with 20 competitors the event set a president for local Pole Fitness Competitions. Winners: Beginner Gemma Hopkins.Intermediate Remmi Kidwell. Advanced Daniel Rosen. Professional Nicole McIntyre.
